Angel is a multidisciplinary creative based on Gadigal Land whose works explore the intersections of their Lesbian, Trans, and Chinese identity through an experimental melding of words, music, and art.

They are a self-titled Queer Chinese Transmasc Butch Dyke and have used this title as the foundation for many of their works, such as “MANIFESTO of a QUEER CHINESE TRANSMASC BUTCH DYKE” which featured in the trans and gender diverse publication marginal, as well as “SHIRT of a QUEER CHINESE TRANSMASC BUTCH DYKE” which featured in the lesbian art exhibition LOVERD*KE.

At night, Angel becomes the certified Lover Boy and self-proclaimed King Violinist: Fine China. Debuting the drag king scene in early 2024, Fine China has since made his mark upon many notable queer venues such as the Bearded Tit, the Red Rattler, the Imperial Erskineville, and Qtopia, where he was casted to be part of the renowned drag king theatre production They Will Be Kings. He’s performed at family-friendly events, bars, weddings, and nightclubs — always on the lookout for the next big show.

Kimie Tsukakoshi is an actress and singer of Singaporean-Chinese/Japanese background with an extensive career in film, theatre and television. 

On-screen, Kimie is best known for starring in the lead role of ‘Kyra’ in the AACTA award-winning television series The Bureau of Magical Things (seasons 1 and 2 playing on Netflix worldwide). She featured as ‘Heidi Thomson’ in all three seasons of The Family Law, SBS and Matchbox Pictures’ award-winning comedy TV series. Other screen credits include NCIS: Sydney, Ms Fisher’s Modern Murder Mysteries, Secret City, Doctor Doctor, H2O: Just Add Water, Great White, Rip Tide, Marley, Someone, and short films Chasing the Sun, The House that Hungers, Hell Yeah and Smoke and Mirrors. 

On stage, she most recently appeared in Trent Dalton’s Love Stories (for which she won the Matilda Award for Best Supporting Actor) and Congratulations Get Rich (La Boite/Singapore Repertory Theatre/Sydney Theatre Company). Other recent appearances include The Poison of Polygamy for Sydney Theatre Company/La Boite (Matilda nominated for Best Leading Actor), Top Coat and Death of a Salesman for Sydney Theatre Company. The Casting Guild of Australia awarded Kimie the Rising Star Award in 2018. She is also a regular audiobook narrator, improviser, and in her past life, she worked as a corporate lawyer.

Dr Kristina Mah is an artist and design researcher living and working on Gadigal-Wangal land (inner-west Sydney), Australia. Her work draws inspiration from ancient wisdom traditions — particularly Buddhism and Daoism — and emphasises embodied ways of knowing and lived experience. Her research explores compassion and entanglement in more-than-human contexts. Her creative practice engages with ritual, movement, cosmology, and mystic symbolism, giving rise to tangible, spatial, and sensory experiences and embodied narratives, often realised through new media, performance, and installation. Kristina is also a martial arts practitioner, and her movement and understanding are informed by her study of karate, kobudo, and the Chinese internal arts.

Neda Taha is an interdisciplinary artist from Western Sydney whose creative journey began in
street hip-hop as a young founding member of the award-winning dance crew, The Pioneers.
Her work spans dance, theatre, and film, with performances that have graced prestigious stages
like the Sydney Opera House and at the World Expo 2020 in Dubai. Neda’s talents as an actor
and deviser are highlighted with credits in the Helpmann-nominated dance theatre show
‘Playlist’
, and short film ‘The Whispering Glass’
, which premiered to a sold-out crowd at the
Sydney Opera House. Neda also gained recognition as the principal dancer in BLKB3RY’s viral
music video ‘Ha’ele Ki Pilitania’
, which has garnered over 4 million views on YouTube.
In 2023, Neda made her directorial debut with ‘Tuân’s Party’
, which enjoyed a sold-out premiere
and a critically acclaimed remount season in 2025, earning ★★★★ from WhatsTheShow and
praise from ABC Radio’s Rod Quinn as “the best show he’s seen all year.
” She further
developed her directing practice in 2024 with the children’s work ‘The Friendship: A
Naughty-Cool Adventure’
, created through PYT Fairfield’s Company program, and continues
this trajectory in 2025 with her latest work,
’What Are The Odds?’
.
In 2024, Neda delivered a powerful TEDx talk and performance with The Pioneers for
TEDxSydney Youth, showcasing her artistry and community impact on a national platform. Later
that year, Neda premiered her new dance theatre work Pioneers (dir. Eliam Royalness) as part
of the City of Sydney’s Art & About program, advancing her mission to celebrate culture,
resilience, and creative expression through movement and storytelling.
Neda is also a dedicated member of PYT Fairfield, where she has made significant
contributions as a Director, Actor, Co-Writer and Senior Tutor for their after-school drama
program,
‘Junior Ensemble’
. Her commitment to nurturing young talent, coupled with her
impactful work across various artistic disciplines, continues to define her as a vital force in the
Australian arts community. Looking ahead, in 2026 Neda began the development of her first
solo work,
‘Finding Jody Jenkins’
, marking a new chapter in her artistic practice. This project will
see her deepen her craft as a performer, writer, and multidisciplinary storyteller, expanding her
voice as an independent artist while continuing to refine the skills that have shaped her career
to date.
