CAAP Ticket Club is back! In partnership with Belvoir St Theatre, we’re bringing Asian Australian artists and their plus-ones to The Jungle and the Sea, written and directed by S. Shakthidharan & Eamon Flack.
From the team behind the smash-hit play Counting and Cracking, this is an exclusive chance to experience its powerful companion piece. Drawn from real-life testimonies and woven with threads of the Mahabharata and Antigone, the play follows one family’s epic journey to hold onto their dignity, safety and love against the backdrop of Sri Lanka’s civil war.
After the show, we’ll be hanging out with members of the creative team and the crew at Belvoir over dinner. This is a rare opportunity to connect directly with the awesome artists behind one of the most talked-about works on Sydney stages right now, alongside fellow creatives from the CAAP Ticket Club community.

Terms and Conditions
- All tickets to Ticket Club are free via ballot only for Asian Australian artists and arts workers.
- There are no single tickets; all successful Ticket Club members are required to bring a guest with them. Please only enter the ballot once. Entering the ballot multiple times does not increase your chances of winning.
- Please only enter the ballot with your own details. We reserve the right to cancel any tickets we believe are obtained through false information at any time.
- 48-hour Cancellation: These are tickets generously offered by our partners so not a single seat must go to waste! If you or your plus one are unable to attend, you must let us know and forfeit both your tickets no less than 48 hours before the event. If you are no longer able to attend, please email us at admin@caap.org.au.
- We will release ant forfeited tickets on the day of the performance to those who entered the ballot.
- In case of illness on the day of the event, we advise you not to attend the event. Please email us as admin@caap.org.au to let us know as soon as possible.
