The inaugural CAAP Artist Lab took place in November at Western Sydney University, hosted by ACIAC (Australia China Institute for Arts and Culture).  It was a jam-packed program of seminars, skills sharing, deep discussion and experimentation.  Led by Darren Yap and co-ordinated by Kenneth Moraleda and Courtney Stewart, assisted by Natasha Pontoh-Supit, the Lab included sessions from our partner organisations Sydney Theatre Company, Belvoir, Griffin, ACIAC and guest artists.

In months and years to come, our guess is that this Lab will be seen as a watershed moment for Asian Australian performance.
